Compare stock value to the inventory GL (for example account 1100 in a seeded chart).
Where to find it: Left menu → Inventory & Warehousing → Inventory Reports
Step 1
Left menu → Inventory & Warehousing → Inventory Reports. If the name is missing, your role does not include it — ask an admin in Users & Roles.
Step 2
Run valuation and coverage reports. If GL and stock disagree, find the missing posting — do not journal a plug without a reason.
Step 3
Valuation should explain the inventory account. Coverage should match Stock Levels.
Yes. Inventory Reports is a signed-in workspace screen. This public page teaches the screen with a picture and a link to the feature video. It never shows another company’s data.
The left menu only shows screens your role may open. Ask a company admin to grant the matching permission, or to show you which role should own this step.
Before close, and any time a count disagrees with the screen.
