Glossary
An export file is the outbound operational record for a shipment: commercial invoice, packing list, certificates, and the bank or customs papers that belong with those goods, kept on one file until the job closes.
Exports use the same company, partners, and audit trail as imports. Documents stay linked to the outbound file. Public walkthrough: How an export file moves.
Certificates, commercial invoices, and bank papers belong on that outbound record so the next person is not hunting a forwarded attachment.
