Glossary
An audit trail is the ordered history of who changed a live file, what they changed, and when — so a manager, auditor, or bank can reconstruct the job without asking the team to remember.
Also called: audit log, activity history.
A log in another tool is a second file. Customer Flow records changes on the same workspace as the shipment, grant, or payment so the trail and the papers cannot drift apart.
Managers should be able to answer who changed a number or a document without calling the last person who touched a spreadsheet.
