Shipment tracking software that is the file — not a separate tracker

Shipment tracking software is often a status page. Operators need the shipment itself: where it is, which papers are attached, who must approve the next stage, and what landed cost looks like now. A tracking link that does not own the documents is another tab to reconcile.

Customer Flow keeps tracking on the operational file. Stages move with the work. Documents stay attached. Approvals are not a side chat. When someone asks “where is it?”, they open the same record finance will open at month-end.

Tracking without a second source of truth

If tracking lives in a carrier portal and cost lives in Excel, you will explain the gap forever. Import-export ERP that includes shipment tracking on the file is slower to demo and faster to live with. Start with the next consignment. Attach the BL or AWB you already have. Let status and papers travel together.
