Manufacturing ERP: inventory, BOM, and cost on the same order

Manufacturing ERP is sold as planning magic. Plants feel the gap as three lists: stores know stock, planning knows the order, finance knows a cost file updated after the shift. When yield is off, nobody can show which approval let a substitute part in.

Customer Flow is manufacturing ERP for that file: inventory movements, bills of materials, production orders, and quality records next to procurement. Approvals stop informal substitutions. The audit trail shows who changed the plan.

You can start with inventory

You do not need a full MES on day one. Load items and locations. Add production and quality when the next process is ready. If you also import raw materials, landed cost and inventory can sit on the same platform so inbound lots are not an island. That is ERP for the factory office, not a machine controller.
